We will guide you through the process of choosing a cemetery memorial
Cemeteries are often managed and maintained by either Borough, District, or Local Authority Councils. They will set certain rules and regulations regarding the types of memorials that can be placed within their respective cemeteries. We will guide you through what is, and ultimately is not, allowed in the cemetery when we create a memorial order for you, as well as discuss any fees that may be due.
When are memorials typically placed or installed?
We often advise that a headstone is not placed on a grave for at least 6 months after a burial has taken place. This is to allow the ground to settle so that the memorial won’t be affected by any subsidence.
When dealing with cremated remains, we often achieve a greater feeling of closure by installing the cemetery memorial at the same time as interring the ashes.
